Peoples Education Society (PES) was established in 1972. PES runs a group of premier institutions that offer a multitude of diploma, undergraduate and postgraduate degree programs in Commerce, Engineering, Management, Medicine, Pharmacy and Science disciplines.

PES School of Engineering (PESSE) carries forward the principles and spirit of its founder Chairman Prof. M. R. Doreswamy: innovation, entrepreneurship, outreach and perennial love for quality education.

PESSE, the most recent addition to the PES family of educational institutions received AICTE approval in 2005. PESSE offers four-year under-graduate engineering degree program in Computer Science, Electronics, Information Science and Instrumentation. Located in the IT capital of India-Bangalore, PESSE is the first academic campus on the IT Corridor of Bangalore City.

PESSE is equipped with state of art facility providing the right ambience that ensures the best of teaching, learning and research engagements. A Wi-Fi campus with 1 Mbps internet lease line greets any person to stay connected all the time. Well-equipped and thoughtfully designed laboratories will appeal every individual’s quest for hands-on learning. The classroom ambience is comparable to very few. Spaciously designed faculty court with network connections provides privacy and scope for research.

Over 30,000sq.ft of well-designed library at PESSE provides ample storage and seating space. The library has reprographic facilities, discussion rooms, media centre and coffee shop. The library has a rich collection of both print and digital media. A roman coliseum type of open-air theater provides a good platform for the students to showcase their talents. An out-door sports complex provides the students and faculty to stay fit. Finally, a multi-cuisine cafeteria will always ensure that nobody goes hungry. We are aware that faculty play a very important role in building the institution and are the main asset in the entire process of teaching and research. In the inception year, the faculty at PESSE included four Ph.D scholars (with many more to come) with a collective publication record of over 100 national and international publications. Free conveyance is provided to faculty with plans of providing in-campus housing in the near future.

In our pursuit of excellence, competence centers are designed in the various disciplines offered at the institution. These centers will be the conduit for research related activity involving the industries and providing exposure to students to the real-world problems.
